Thanks to the good transport connections, it is quick and easy to get to the capital region from the rural idyll of Siuntio. Families with children, in particular, value Siuntio’s safe and natural living environment, which includes rivers and lakes, sunny seashores, wide open fields and rolling valleys.

Downtown Siuntio, right next to the bus and train station, is a cozy place to live, complete with a well-functioning network of local services. The municipal center is home to Finnish and Swedish-language schools and day-care centers, a grocery store and comprehensive health services. Siuntio is part of the HSL area, which makes commuting to the capital region easy.

There are also youth facilities and plenty of activities for all ages in the area. New services are also being built in downtown Siuntio, such as the recently completed Siuntio Center – the new campus, Sivistyskampus Siuntion Sydän, which is home not only to the schools, but also to a library, family center and other recreational facilities for residents.
